300th Anniversary Website!
The Town of Shrewsbury, incorporated on December 15, 1727, will celebrate its 300th anniversary in 2027. Plans are underway for a year of Town-wide tricentennial activities to honor our town’s past, celebrate the present, and look ahead to the future!
On November 28, 2024, the Select Board established a nine member 300th Anniversary Celebration Committee to research, evaluate, make recommendations, and coordinate Town-wide activities to commemorate the 300th Anniversary of the incorporation of the Town of Shrewsbury in 2027.

Community Outreach
Our plan is to establish a few cornerstone events throughout the year but we hope that individuals, businesses, and community groups will think about how they can get involved hosting their own events or contributing to the cornerstone events.
We’re inviting the community to join us on March 26, 2025 from 7:00 to 8:30 pm at the Shrewsbury Public Library to get more information, share ideas, and explore opportunities to contribute or get involved with celebrating our town.
